Technology and Market Promotion Department (MSME)
The Department of the Technology and Market Promotion is composed of two subdepartments:
(a) Technology and Training Subdepartment
(b) Market Promotion Subdepartment
Role and Function
(a) Technology and Training Subdepartment
(1) | Organizing training, Workshop, seminar and knowledge sharing program on business development and technology needed by MSME in collaboration with local and international organizations. |
(2) | Supporting to produce potential regional products as value-added products and to promote the production of import substitutes and export products. |
(3) | Executing the Digital Transformation of MSME and the development of digital economy. |
(4) | Implementing the nurturing of startup and the development of entrepreneurship. |
(5) | Performing the development of Clusters. |
(6) | Conducting occasional Capacity Building Training for the staff who serve the MSME development activity to be able to accomplish effectively. |
(b) Market Promotion Subdepartment
(1) | Providing the digital platforms for the market improvement of domestic products. |
(2) | Connecting the MSME to the business experts or technicians for the MSME development and market promotion by providing smart business idea. |
(3) | Organizing exhibition, product competition and business matching (buyer- seller meets) cooperation with local and international organizations and supporting MSME in order to participate in the marketing promotional events. |
(4) | Arranging to operate MSME Product Show Room for the market penetrating of MSME products. |
(5) | Dissemination of market information for the market expansion of MSME |
(6) | Translation and Publication of the MSME development and marketing promotional literature. |
